Defence Sites 3: Heritage and Future

This volume collects papers presented at the Third International Conference on Defence Sites: Heritage and Future, held in 2016 and organized by the U. of Alicante, Spain, and the Wessex Institute, UK. The 15 papers address the scale, redesign, and functions of specific defense sites in various countries, issues in their decommissioning and redundancy, and the implications of different development projects and disposal processes for the land.
