Minipigs in Biomedical Research [DVD]

　　Taiwan Livestock Research Institute has seven stations to conserve native farm animals for biodiversity research. Mini-pig genetic resources has been conserved and established to promote the laboratory animal usage in biomedical research since 1980. Today, we have the honor of holding a conference with Medical College of National Cheng Kung University. We would like to share the research and utilization of new breeds of mini-pig from our Taitung Station. We focus heart disease, tissue engineering, medical device, new therapy development, and organ transplantation with pig model.
