Fly Away Home

　　看過電影”The Terminal” (中譯《航站情緣》) 的讀者想必對本書的故事背景不陌生。Fly Away Home的主角，是一個跟著失業父親流浪，以機場為家的孩子：「因為我們沒有家，而機場比大街上好」，爸爸這樣告訴他。

　　本書所欲探討的是童書世界中少見的社會問題題材，而Eve Bunting筆下的作品時常藉著一些社會議題，以孩子單純的視角重新詮釋，積極探討生活中的困境與晦暗的面向，讓讀者認識挫折與創傷的樣貌，進而學習到面對、克服，從而轉化這些情緒的技巧。(文/博客來編譯)
