Bones

　　When human bones are found scattered throughout L.A., Detective Milo Sturgis and psychologist Alex Delaware team up to track a ruthless and bizarre killer.

　　A shocking discovery is found in the marshland near Marina Del Rey, one of California’s beach communities. Floating in a shallow pond, barely concealed by saw grass, is the corpse of a young woman, her left hand removed.

　　After seeing the crime scene, Milo Sturgis calls in Alex Delaware. The site is the usual flurry of forensic activity and within moments, a grave is exposed where another body, long buried and degraded to skeletal remains is found. When the excavation is complete, the remains of seven people have been unearthed. All are female and each is missing a left hand.

　　As Milo and Alex continue to work the Wetlands Burial case, an early morning ritual takes place at a self-storage facility nearby. Every sixty days, the contents of bins rented by deadbeats are auctioned to the highest bidder. Triumphs are rare but notable, until a man purchases the contents of one bin that contains a polished hardwood box with brass fittings.
