Working as a fishing guide in Maine, Stoney Calhoun, an amnesiac with no memory of his past, turns sleuth when his friend and fellow fishing guide is found murdered and discovers, much to his surprise, that he many have been the original target of the killer and that he has had training in the process of investigation.
