Angel Came to Nazareth: A Story of the First Christmas

Because Mary and Joseph must travel from Nazareth to Bethlehem, an angel offers four beasts--a horse, camel, ox, and donkey--the choice to carry the greatest burden--a soldier, the good Samaritan, the wise king, or the pregnant woman--and although the donkey chooses the poor woman with child, he discovers that he is carrying the greatest of them all.
