Women Composers And Music Technology in the United States: Crossing the Line

Hinkle-Turner (computing services, U. of North Texas College) expands the study of avant-garde and experimental music by looking at how American women composers use music technology, particularly electroacoustic technology. She discusses and analyzes some 150 pieces of music, with a technical review of the necessary equipment and construction methods when helpful.
