Who’s in Maxine’s Tree

Fearful that her giant Sitka spruce won't be standing in the Walbran Valley when she arrives, Maxine is excited to see her old friend alive and well upon her approach, yet hearing a strange sound coming from the branches above, Maxine gets an extra surprise when she learns from a tree climber that a mamu has made a nest in her special tree!
