Close Encounters of a Third-World Kind

Unhappy about their family's two month move to Nepal, twelve-year-old Annie fears the worse and is less than thrilled upon her arrival, but after being befriended by a local girl named Nirmala, Annie finally gets to see the real Nepal and begins to enjoy her trip as the great adventure it was meant to be.
