Arctic Foxes 2007 Calendar

The circumpolar world of the arctic fox is a varied landscape, with comfortable temperatures and grassy habitats in the summers shifting to snow, ice, frigid winds and plunging temperatures during the harsh winters. These cat-sized foxes are well adapted to the changes. They alter their coat colors with the seasons, hunt prey for themselves and their pups whatever the circumstances, and scavenge from the hunts of other locals, like polar bears, when necessary. In Arctic Foxes 2007, under the patient eye of award-winning nature photographer Norbert Rosing, these small, intriguing, finely featured arctic survivors have been captured on film in their often severe, but strikingly beautiful landscape.
