內容簡介

The 16th-century Middle Cornish manuscript was discovered among papers bequeathed to the National Library of Wales in 2000 by J. E. Caerwyn, who had transcribed a few lines but apparently never mentioned the manuscript to other Celtic scholars. It contains a play about Kea, a fifth-century Celtic saint venerated in Cornwall, Brittany, and elsewhere. Thomas (formerly National Library of Wales) and Williams (Celtic languages, U. College Dublin) present an edition of the surviving sections, with facing pages of English translation. The Cornish/English and English/Cornish indexes double as glossaries. Published in association with the National Library of Wales. Distributed in North America by The David Brown Book Co. Annotation ©2007 Book News, Inc., Portland, OR (booknews.com)
