　　畢業於美國聖母大學，在校時選擇英文為主修科目，以便能有正當理由將所有時間都用來閱讀。畢業之後，有幾年的時間旅居各處，現在則與家人定居在田納西州。閱讀以外的時間，她埋首努力撰寫下一本以艾蜜莉．艾胥頓小姐為主角的小說。
