Sara Pezzini, the New York City detective and bearer of the mystical Witchblade, investigates a series of mysterious deaths which lead her to encounter a mysterious force called "The Weave." She brings in her friend and cohort, archaeologist and adventurer, Lara Croft, and together they investigate "The Weave."
