Arnie Carver and the Plague of Demeverde

After his billionaire parents are murdered in 2024, thirteen-year-old Thayne, a sheltered child prodigy, sets out to find their killer, first by replacing himself with a lifelike robot and then by adopting an alter ego and attending the Global Optimum Development Academy, an international high school for physically, intellectually, and sensorially gifted students.
