Fire Bell in the Night

Set in Charleston, South Carolina in the summer of 1850, follows 'New York Tribune' reporter John Sharp as tries to understand the rising tensions brewing underneath the trial of Darcy Calhoun, a poor white farmer accused of aiding a runaway slave.
