This field guide not only provides detailed descriptions and color photographs of flowers of the northeast, it also teaches users how to systematically identify unfamiliar flora. The book divides wildflowers into categories of color and physical structure (number of petals, types and orientation of leaves) and includes both a glossary of terms and a visual glossary.
