川頓．李．史都華（Trenton Lee Stewart）
畢業自愛荷華大學的作家工作坊，另著有《洪流之夏》。目前與妻子和兩個孩子住在阿肯色州的小石市。
本書的構想第一次出現的時候，是他在走往餐廳的半路上所想到的一個棋戲謎題。他不知道這個點子打哪兒來的，可是等他抵達餐廳時，他已決定要把這個點子放進一本小說裡，於是《天才神秘會社》系列就誕生了。
