On Christmas Eve in Hawaii, a holiday refered to by locals as Kalikimaka, Santa surfs to the island in an outrigger canoe pulled by sea turtles, and as he arrives at each home, the holiday decorations come to life, whispering to him what gifts he should leave for the children in exchange for a lei from mama and papa.
