It had been almost a year since the string of grizzly murders in the small town of Smith Falls, Pennsylvania. For the people of this area, life seemed routine again. But for Sheriff Clive Aliston, the shadows remained. The unanswered questions plagued him like phantoms in the night. For him, there had been no closure. Only that bloody thread of clues that led nowhere. Out on the distant horizon, dark clouds gathered. A storm was coming.
