After creating a precocious robot named Arale, who turns out to be more than he bargained for, goofy inventor Senbei Norimaki scrambles to get his masterpiece in working order so the rest of Penguin Village doesn't suspect that Arale is not really a girl, but first he must find her a pair of glasses and some clothes.
