Modular Structures in Design and Architecture

This book examines morphogenetic processes based on a combination of digital and analogue modeling and manufacturing techniques. In many cases, these modules can be translated into architectural designs, where they operate as precursors of architecture to come.These visual studies have been produced in the academic context of the Technical University of Darmstadt (Germany). They show exciting new avenues in educational motivation, using a systematic architectural approach as well as an understanding of complex geometries.
