Even Money

On the first day of Royal Ascot, small-time bookmaker Ned Talbot finds his life thrown into turmoil when a man claiming to be his father--whom he had long thought to be dead--becomes the victim of a stabbing at the race track and passes along a mysterious warning to Ned.
