布蘭登．山德森 Brandon Sanderson
一九七五年生，美國奇幻小說家，曾兩度入圍美國奇幻/科幻文學新人最高榮譽獎項「約翰．坎伯新人獎」。二○○五年以出道作《諸神之城：伊嵐翠》贏得《浪漫時代》奇幻史詩大獎，之後推出的《迷霧之子》系列也受到評論界與讀者的一致好評。奇幻小說界巨人羅伯特．喬丹的遺孀讀了《迷霧之子：最後帝國》之後，力邀他完成喬丹的遺作《時光之輪》系列作品。
