Neil is such a kind, warm person that Alice has run out of reasons to turn down his advances. Now that they are officially a couple, Alice can't deny that life with Neil is much happier than her time with Patrick, but she still feels unsure about her new relationship. Patrick finds himself conflicted, not wanting to hurt his best friend by reclaiming his girlfriend. He agrees to date Daria, who is thrilled to finally land her man, but Patrick also feels restless with his new partner. Is it really over between Patrick and Alice?
