Crusades 1: Urban Decree

A dark, enigmatic 11th-century Crusader has appeared in 21st-century San Francisco to render terrifying justice. Outfitted in dented chain mail, riding atop a massive blind horse, and brandishing a arsenal straight out of the Dark Ages, "The Knight" (as he is dubbed by the local media) commits acts of unspeakable, bloody violence in answer to the call of the Crusades, "God Wills It." Heads will roll, limbs will fly, and urban criminals large and small beware!

Who is "The Knight"? That's the key question on the lips of San Francisco's spooked residents. But while The Knight's origins and motives are shrouded in mystery, his actions, violent yet just, create moral quandaries and power struggles in a city divided in its opinions of his one-man campaign of pain. As The Knight hacks, slashes and terrorizes the degenerate denizens of the city, its citizens don't know whether to rejoice in relief or recoil in revulsion. A substantial supporting cast is thrust face-to-face with the grim reality that is the actions of The Knight...a meeting that will cause them to question their most deeply felt beliefs and their faith in a system of justice that for too long has stopped short of final judgment.
