內容簡介

In this annual publication, Nolen-Hoeksema (Yale U.) et al. bring together 25 articles that review knowledge on disorders, treatments, and methods in clinical psychology or present emerging topics in the field. Articles address the diagnosis, etiology, and treatment of panic disorder, somatoform disorders, narcissistic personality disorder, and self-injury; the genetics of mood disorders; the prevention of depression; harm-reduction interventions for addictions; cognitive processes in depression and addiction; the impact of violence on women's health; and assessment and data analysis methods, including personality assessment, advanced analyses of longitudinal data, and group-based trajectory modeling. Articles on emerging topics consider whether psychologists should have prescription authority; whether categorical or continuum models of schizophrenia are more valid; pharmacogenetics in the treatment of substance use disorders; the effect of substance use in adolescence on psychoses; culturally adapted interventions; emotion regulation and psychopathology in youth; the impact of traumatic stress across the lifespan; successful aging; and the use of behavioral data in the courtroom. Contributors work mostly in psychology and psychiatry, but also law, health statistics, public policy, and other fields, in the US, Europe, and New Zealand.
