A New Year’s Reunion

　　Little Maomao’s dad works many miles away … but he is coming home for New Year! Maomao and her mum are very excited. Who will find the coin that brings good fortune?

　　Little Maomao’s father works far away from the family home, so his return for New Year is a cause for celebration. Maomao and her mother welcome him back and together they enjoy the firecrackers and make sticky rice balls-in one of which Maomao finds the lucky fortune coin. But after watching the dragon dance and playing snowballs, Maomao discovers disaster has struck ... where is the lucky coin? At first inconsolable to have lost it, Maomao is finally restored to happiness before her father must depart again.

作者簡介

余麗瓊(Yu Li-Qiong)

　　1980年出生在安徽安慶，南京大學文學學士、戲劇藝術在讀碩士，中國散文學會會員。現為《東方娃娃》編輯。 自1996年起發表散文、詩歌、小說十萬餘字。

　　Yu Li-Qiong was born in China’s Anhui Province in 1980. A member of the Chinese Institute of Prose, she has published more than a hundred thousand words of writing in prose and novels since 1996. She lives in Nanjing, China.

朱成梁(Zhu Cheng Liang) 

　　1948年1月出生於上海，少年時代在蘇州度過，畢業於南京藝術學院美術系油畫專業，曾為江蘇美術出版社副總編輯，現已退休。熱愛圖畫書創作，並從中得到樂趣。

　　Zhu Cheng Liang was born in Shanghai in 1948. He studied fine arts at Nanjing Art Institute and is currently deputy chief editor at the Jiangsu Fine Arts Publishing House. His achievements include an Honorable Mention by UNESCO s Noma Concours for his illustrations in Flashing Rabbit-shaped Lamp. Zhu Cheng Liang lives in China.
