Alexandros N. Tombazis and Associates, Architects today employs around 60 staff who undertake urban, architectural and interior design, and technical supervision.
The company occupies purpose-designed offices of approximately 1000 square metres, located at 27 Monemvasias Street in Polydroso, a northern suburb of Athens. The building is a three-storey,
open-plan, split-level space that represents the company's philosophy, which has evolved over the past 40 years. It is concerned with environmentally friendly, bioclimatic and passive
architectural design, and the firm has become known for this in Greece and abroad.
Tombazis and Associates, Architects has been honoured with prizes in numerous national and international competitions, and in competitions by invitation. Many of its commissions are the result
of these distinctions. It has participated in international competitions in Japan, India, the United Arab Emirates, Cyprus, Italy, Spain, Portugal, France, Austria, Germany, the Netherlands,
Norway and Finland. As well as many completed projects in Greece, the office has undertaken commissions in Cyprus, the United Arab Emirates (Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Ras Al Khaimah), the Sultanate
of Oman, Portugal, the Netherlands, Bulgaria, Romania, Ukraine and China.
