內容簡介

Based on a seminar that took place at Carlsberg University in 2007, this volume features six pieces written by both literary scholars about law and lawyers about literature. After an opening essay, three articles cover legal concepts in two plays by Shakespeare and one by Albert Camus' L'etranger. Interdisciplinary studies in this area have broadened of late into consideration of law and the humanities, and this work continues in that vein, exploring in the last two articles the questions surrounding narration, human rights and cultural identity. The volume is edited by Simonsen (com parative literature, Aarhus, U.) and Tamm (law, Copenhagen U.) and contains no index. Distributed in the US by ISBS.
