El caso Moro / The Moro Affair

In 1978, when the Red Brigades kidnapped and murdered politician and Communist leader Aldo Moro, shocking all of Italy, Leonardo Sciascia, then MP for the Radical Party, participated in the commission that investigated the incident. That same year, on the fly, he wrote The Moro Case, which reads like a novel, but the author felt, above all, a "work of truth."
