ALIANZAS is a one-semester intermediate Spanish program that focuses on communication and the consolidation of the skills acquired at the introductory level. The review and recycling built into
this one-semester intermediate volume provides a solid follow-up for users who have completed either an introductory program or have been placed at the intermediate level. Learning strategies
and outcomes equip users with the skills necessary to investigate real-world options for international education, professional, volunteer, and internship opportunities; take advantage of true
cultural exploration through their own perspectives; and examine and discuss in-depth key themes that are relevant for today?s users: life online, global education and citizenship,
multiculturalism, environmental awareness, and local community involvement.
