5 Egyptian-Arabic One Act Plays: A First Reader

Intended as an introduction to the study of Egyptian-Arabic drama for European students, this volume presents transcriptions in Roman characters of five short one act plays. The dialogue of the plays is in the dialect of Cairo, while the stage directions appear in modern literary Arabic.
