The White Ox: The Journey of Emily Swain Squires

Emily Swain Squires, a young Mormon from England, is weary as she makes the long trip to Salt Lake City, Utah in a team of freight wagons, but feels a sense of renewal when she finds a sickly white ox and is able to nurse him back to health during the journey.
