梅德琳．威克漢Madeleine Wickham

　　出生於倫敦，曾於牛津大學修讀政治、哲學、經濟三合一課程。梅德琳．威克漢在擔任財經記者時，出版了第一本小說《網球派對（The Tennis Party）》。之後陸續出版了六本小說。

　　在《隨心所寓》中，所有的情節都圍繞著倫敦郊區的一棟雅緻住宅和屋裡來來去去的人。威克漢輕鬆地聚合不同的角色，用對話般的口氣把所有人物都串在一起，情節緊密交織，結構嚴謹且趣味十足。
