languages and societies...and the delicate and often problematic balance between minority and majority cultures...." Contributors are based internationally, and essays are arranged in sections
on religion and origins, plays and playwrights, the Holocaust, interpretations and reinterpretations, and the contemporary scene (in Germany, Hungary, Poland, East-Central Europe and Eurasia).
