This is the third GEDI, which is an annual publication that aims to include data from most countries of the world by 2015. The current edition adds 39 countries, bringing the total to 118, each
treated with two pages of charts and graphs giving data on the country’s relative position with regard to entrepreneurial attitudes, abilities, and aspirations. Preceding the country pages are
chapters addressing the role of entrepreneurship in economic development, the methodology and data description of the Index, and the development of National Systems of Entrepreneurship. The
three authors are affiliated as follows: Zoltán Ács (George Mason U.), László Szerb (U. of Pécs, Hungary), and Erkko Autio (Imperial College London Business School, UK). Annotation ©2013 Book
