內容簡介

This collection of journal articles from the past 13 years is intended for researchers, teachers, entrepreneurs, and advisors to entrepreneurs. The articles highlight legal issues and structural challenges in intellectual property, tort law, taxation, business organization, financing and securities regulation, and restrictive covenants meant to protect proprietary technology. The first two sections of the book cover legal issues for the start-up and growth of entrepreneurial enterprises. While the primary focus of the collection is on for-profit ventures, the next group of articles covers legal issues associated with social entrepreneurship. Part 4 describes the roles of lawyers in planning, implementing, and growing entrepreneurial ventures, and part 5 looks at issues related to educating entrepreneurial lawyers. Litan is affiliated with Bloomberg Government. Luppino teaches urban affairs at the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law. Annotation ©2013 Book News, Inc., Portland, OR (booknews.com)
