This anthology deals with fashion media-magazines, photography, film, blogs, and so on. The first section on magazines has a mostly 20th century historical focus. The second deals with fine art
media (painting, photography, and film) and so is theoretical in inflection. The last section deals with new media and focuses mostly on blogs. A few contributions depart from this structure,
notably a piece on the law and Muslim women’s headscarves, and a concluding roundtable on current issues in fashion media. There are black and white illustrations and several sections of color
