This work gathers government and enterprise data on foreign-invested enterprises in China over the past 30 years, with special focus on past 15 years in order to report on the operational
status of Chinese enterprises with foreign investment. The book begins by describing the development process and the effects of foreign investment policies in China and by reviewing the overall
status of the absorption of foreign investment by the national economy. Later chapters cover investment models and capital structures of enterprises with foreign investment, the industrial
distribution of foreign investment, and the regional distribution of foreign investment. Further chapters analyze the structure and characteristics of the sources of foreign investment by
country, the operational and profitable tax status of foreign-invested enterprises, and the scale of employment and labor remuneration of foreign-invested enterprises. The final chapter
