"Asymmetrical Wind Dancing" is a collection of poems that humorously celebrates the human condition and opines our place in the cosmos. While each one of the 7.3-billion people on Earth is
unique in our beliefs, passions and desires, we all come from the same place. Our gift, unlike that of any other sentient being on Earth, is the magic of our imaginations. It is through our
imaginations that we create our alternate universes. If there is a question for which there is no rational answer, no problem, we will imagine one. The earliest known religious icons date back
some 100,000 years ago when we were essentially cave dwellers. Since that time, humans have spawned thousands of religions, each one a product of its point in human evolution, and each one
thought to be the better mousetrap by its believers. Our imaginations give rise to ideas which lead to inventions. Those ideas and inventions help define who we are. Our imaginations also get
us into trouble as we blur the line between the rational and the imaginary. "Asymmetrical Wind Dancing" is a celebration of the asymmetry between rational thought and our imaginations. It
should be standard equipment on every night table.
