內容簡介

This guide outlines cognitive-behavioral skills training, a psychosocial rehabilitation intervention for individuals with schizophrenia. Integrating cognitive-behavioral therapy, social skills training, and problem-solving training, the program teaches individuals how to set goals related to living, learning, working, and socializing, then details the cognitive, communication, and problem-solving skills to achieve them. The program can used in group or individual therapy or in case management. Introductory chapters explain the theoretical background, research evidence, outcome and fidelity assessments, and guidelines for implementation, followed by modules for the program, as well as adapting it to special populations and dealing with common challenges. Included are worksheets and summaries of skills. Annotation ©2016 Ringgold, Inc., Portland, OR (protoview.com)
