This two-volume set collects scholarly articles from the past 20 years on the global legal protection of whistleblowers, surveying laws and policies supporting whistleblower protection and
offering case studies and perspectives from around the world. Volume 1 begins with material on relevant legal frameworks related to open government, market regulation, human rights, and
employment and labor law. Later chapters in this volume deal with the enforcement and application of whistleblower laws, global whistleblower laws, international organizations, and
international comparison of attitudes towards whistleblowing. Numerous court cases are analyzed. Volume 2 examines disputed issues such as anonymity, ethics, and internal disclosures. This
volume also deals with continuing controversies such as national security and financial incentives. Annotation ©2016 Ringgold, Inc., Portland, OR (protoview.com)
