Rightly put, this book is a work of neither fiction, nor factual reporting. Rather, it is a work of living, a work arranged for by Life herself. For, with Life, the stories are the same, and so are the characters; it’s only the actors that change.

Combining imagination with observation, this book leans on the tools of narration and poetry to dive into the very many experiences and situations that life serves us. It attempts to make visible to the reader some of the many unseen dances that are performed behind the scenes. Blending love and ambition with suffering and hope, it tries to breach the territories of psychology and philosophy in weaving narratives around gratification, relationships and morality.

Words are capable of tremendous beauty and power. They can be hoped to reveal and regale, help and heal, inspire and encourage. And writings in this book have attempted to use them to the same effect - to contributing in some measure to making fuller the life of the reader, and to making the world an easier, richer place.
