The Neurobiological Basis of Memory: A System, Attribute, and Process Analysis

This book delivers current research on the neurobiological basis of memory. Based on the scientific contributions of Raymond Kesner, M.D., Ph.D., theoretical and applied issues associated with system, attribute, and process aspects of memory and learning are discussed. Topics include Kesner’s contributions to the attribute model in understanding amnesia; space, time, and the hippocampus; frontal cortex-basal ganglia systems support of learning and memory functions; integrated memory systems of the brain; and spatial and temporal memory deficits following traumatic brain injury.
