Editor Geoffrey P. Miller presents readers with a two volume set of collected writings dedicated to examining and understanding the economics of financial law. The editor has organized the
twenty selections that make up the main body of the first volume of the text in six parts devoted to the nature of the banking firm, shadow banks, liquidity, lending, capital, and bank runs and
systemic risk. The twenty-one selections that make up the second volume are organized in five parts devoted to financial crises, issues in bank regulation, governance, central banks, and
