 　　作者是電腦業第一代資深前輩，服務 IBM(HK)三十年，他撰寫電腦業發展，詳盡真實，內容包括：

作者簡介    

Anthoney O

　　Graduated in 1961 from Electrical Engineering of the University of Hong Kong, Anthony O joined IBM HK in the same year, being the earliest of all pioneers of the computer field in Hong Kong.

　　During his service with IBM HK, Anthony was personally responsible for the introduction of the first scientific computer at HKU and Asia’s biggest real-time banking systems at HSBC and BOC Group in Hong Kong. He built upon the success of the BOC project to help ICBC introduce the first real-time banking system in China which was later adopted by China’s state-owned banks in the 1990s; the same software solution also became a standard in Hong Kong, most ASEAN countries and China into the new Millennium.

　　His other personal contributions include introducing the IBM PC and establishing the remarketing channels in Hong Kong, and the set-up of IBM’s first software Joint Venture in China before finishing his 30-year career with
IBM in 1991.
