Chairs by Architects

This color-illustrated coffee table book presents 55 chairs designed by well-known and less-known architects including Frank Lloyd Wright, Eileen Gray, Frank Gehry, Tadao Ando, and Waro Kishi. Each entry contains a brief profile of the architect, a photo of one of his or her buildings, and photo of the chair. The book also includes interviews with designers, architects, and scholars, discussing issues of manufacturing, collecting, and preservation.
