Waves of Renewal: Modern Japanese Prints, 1900 to 1960 presents a collection of twentieth-century Japanese prints from the shin hanga and sosaku hanga traditions, focusing on the pre-war era. The book presents a limited selection of the full collection housed at the Nihon no hanga museum, which currently boasts over two thousand prints.
