內容簡介

當前,我國外語教育領域正在進行著全面而深入的改革。改革的內容涉及到外語教育的方針政策、基本理念、基本原則、教育文化、教育實施、教育評價等各個方面,也關系到新世紀億萬學生的成長和可持續發展。隨著課改新理念、語言新方針和教育新策略的確定及課改的逐步推開,老師培訓工作的重要性和關鍵作用變得越來越突出。從某種意義上說,課改能否最終獲得成功,取決于廣大教師對課改的認識、取決于他們的語言理論水平和實際工作能力。

本手冊由美國弗吉尼亞理工學院外國語言文學系主任Judjth L.Shrum和賓夕法尼亞州印第安納大學的Eileen W.Glisan合作,為初上講台的教師、已有一定教學經驗但仍希望提高理論與實踐水平的教師以及那些離開過教學崗位一段時間後又重返課堂的教師撰寫而成。
